Truthfully, they have a third claim they are one of the most comely races as well. Arcturans learn military tactics and skills from the time they can crawl. They are all required to serve in the planet's military before venturing off world for any reason. Arcturans of any age or sex can be called upon to serve at any time and are expected to appear as ordered. They have reluctantly joined the Federation only recently as they viewed the group as being much too prone to peace for their own good.Education:

When Arcturus entered the Federation, Dallas applied for service. He spent two
years on Earth studying Federation diplomacy and taking adminstrative training. He then spent two years serving with the Federation embassy on Vulcan; three years as assistant to Admiral Wentworth on Starbase 20 and has just finished with two years back on Earth as a Federation attache to any needy diplomats and senior officers. He has just been assigned as attache to the commodore on board the USS BENEDICT.Personal skills: Possesses all skills of a fully trained marine, including
personal combat skills; enjoys riding animals similar to horses; likes to read (oddly enough), enjoys exercise, climbing, swimming and animals.Personality: Very military minded, likes things his way, doesn't like stubbornness in other people although he has plenty of it himself; likes people in general; is honorable by Arcturan standards, of course, can be sneaky if necessary and possesses a sense of humor if he allows it to come out.
